Jantina Talsma

I’m Hilde, a bassist and producer based in Amsterdam. I studied bass guitar at the Conservatory of Haarlem and graduated in 2022.

I am working with:

CHARLOT - production, live production and bass.

Cocobolo - composing and bass.

Froukje - live bass.

As a bassist I like to give the right energy by being grounded and build from there. I enjoy playing many types of music, but usually there’s some elements of nostalgia and melancholy to be found in what I like most.

Capturing beautiful songs and finding the right sounds is something I love. Since I started out as a live musician, in production I now like to combine that organic feeling with more electronic sounds.

I find it inspiring to work with various artists and create something new, which is something I find myself doing more and more in my studio with different people. I also find joy in coaching others to grow their own musicality. I have experience as a teacher/coach in private and band settings.
